Ladakh sits at 3,500 m and above, so acclimatisation is non-negotiable: every itinerary starts with a rest day in Leh. Flights land in Leh (IXL) and permits for Nubra and Pangong are arranged for you.
The main season runs June to September. Winter brings the Chadar frozen-river trek for experienced trekkers.
